Because it may take me up to 3 years to complete, I will periodically post here short excerpts showing the work as it progresses, so that people who are interested in following the work can have a sense of where it is going. (These excerpts will all undoubtedly be different in their final form.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Like my previous videos, \u201cSuggestive Gestures\u201d is based on a completely improvised dialog, in this case by Cassie Tunick and myself. I\u2019m using language in a different way here, however. I am exploring the use of language to create a \u201clandscape,\u201d rather than a story or a series of connected ideas. The rhythm and sound of the voices inspires the music and the images.
